NGC 4038 and NGC 4039

NGC 4038 and NGC 4039 also know as The Antennae Galaxies are a pair galaxies in the process of colliding and eventually merging with each other. The process of merging takes hundres of millions to a billion years to complete.
The galaxies are located in the constellation Corvus at about 45 Million light-years from Earth.
